My Second Quilt
For this quilt I decided to mix what I know professionally tech-wise and crafts. The idea works like a video codec. You look at the difference in the color values of pieces and the more different they are, the higher resolution you need. So in simpler terms, the more different the colors, the more triangles in the quilt. Erin and I had just taken a long trip through national parks so my thought was to make a quilt for each park we visited. This is Yellowstone.
After that it was just a mater of figuring out what fabric went where and the cut sizes for each. Then I spent a whole bunch of time sewing little triangles, while watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
