I started with a great YouTube tutorial I found. I would highly recommend it. Its slightly outdated, but If I managed to figure it out I’m sure it would be of some use to anyone trying to do AR.    Great AR Tutorial

Its a nice from scratch approach to getting a portal door and something beyond it. It also has some just basic functions in Unity which is helpful to learn.
